Welcome to veteranhauling.com. These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and the junk removal, demolition, and cleanout services provided by Veteran Hauling. By using our website or hiring us for a job, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.
1. Service Agreement
Veteran Hauling provides junk removal, estate cleanouts, apartment cleanouts, commercial cleanouts, and demolition services across central Indiana along the I-65 corridor. We operate from our headquarters at 2695 Grissom St, Columbus, IN 47203, with satellite offices in Bloomington and Indianapolis. We serve Columbus, Indianapolis, Bloomington, and 17 additional cities throughout the region.
Our regular business hours are Monday through Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. We do not offer emergency or after-hours service.
If you need to reschedule a confirmed appointment, we require at least 24 hours of notice. Cancellations or reschedule requests made with less than 24 hours of notice may result in a scheduling fee at our discretion.
You are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the items and areas where work will be performed. This includes clearing a path for our crew, securing pets, and notifying us in advance of any access restrictions, locked gates, or other conditions that may affect the job.
2. Service Process
Every job begins with an on-site quote. A member of our team will assess the volume of material to be removed, identify any special items or access challenges, and provide you with a firm price before any work begins.
We use a volume-based pricing model with 12 defined price points. Your quote is based on how much space your items take up in our truck, not on weight or time spent on the job.
Once you approve the quote, we complete the work the same day in most cases. We do not begin any job without your approval of the quoted price.
3. Pricing and Payment
Our pricing is volume-based with 12 price points. The price we quote on site is the price you pay. Surcharges apply to certain items that require special handling or disposal, including televisions, tires, items containing Freon (such as refrigerators and air conditioners), and jobs that require carrying items up or down stairs.
Payment is collected at the completion of the job. We do not require deposits, contracts, or long-term commitments. We do not offer financing or payment plans.
The one exception to our standard payment terms applies to estate cleanout jobs tied to a real estate transaction. In those cases, we can arrange for payment at closing.
4. What We Do Not Handle
For the safety of our crew and compliance with disposal regulations, we do not accept the following materials: paint, chemicals, fuel, oil, and other hazardous materials. If you are unsure whether an item qualifies, contact us before your appointment and we will let you know.
We also do not offer dumpster rentals or after-hours service.
5. Liability
Veteran Hauling carries full commercial insurance, including general liability and workers’ compensation coverage. Our crew takes care to protect your property during every job.
We guarantee you’ll be happy you hired us. If something goes wrong during a job, contact us and we will make it right.
Our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific job in question. Veteran Hauling is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind, including lost profits, property damage not caused by our direct actions, or damages resulting from delays beyond our control.
You agree to provide accurate information about the items and conditions at the job site. We are not responsible for damage to items you did not identify for removal or for conditions you did not disclose before the job began.
6. Website Use
All content on veteranhauling.com, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of Veteran Hauling and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content from this website without our written permission.
We make every effort to keep the information on our website accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that all content is free of errors. Service availability, pricing, and other details are subject to change without notice. The information on this website is provided for general reference and does not constitute a binding offer.
